Hanoi International Film Festival will return after two years of delay

As planned, the 6th Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF) will take place in 2020, but due to the complicated situation of the Covid-19 epidemic, the event has been postponed until 2022.

Established in 2010, HANIFF is oriented to be a prestigious event to honor excellent cinematographic works with high artistic value, rich in humanity and creativity, and to encourage new talents of cinema in the world. country, and at the same time introduce unique works of cinema around the world.

During the organization period, HANIFF takes the slogan towards the integration and sustainable development of the country’s cinema. The event attracted the participation of hundreds of films and film industry workers from many countries around the world, as well as bringing Vietnam’s image to international friends, promoting tourism.

Some typical activities organized within the framework of the film festival can be mentioned as youth creative camp, HANIFF studio to seek and support cinematic talents; film market to connect producers, investors, filmmakers, actors…; programs showing films from Vietnam and many other countries, showing a series of films that won a specific award; workshops, seminars to share experiences, and to connect filmmaking cooperation between Vietnam and other countries…

With diverse activities, the 6th HANIFF is also expected to have interesting programs, continue to connect experiences and create many cooperation opportunities for domestic and foreign filmmakers.
