Dr. Nguyen Van Thuong, Director of Duc Giang General Hospital also informed that the hospital still has about 150 F0 patients being treated, equal to 30% of the peak period. On average, the hospital only receives 10 cases a day. Besides the number of F0 hospital admissions fell sharply, the number of deaths also decreased. Last week, the hospital recorded more than 10 deaths from COVID-19, much lower than at its peak (up to more than 40 cases/week).

At the recent meeting of the City’s Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, Director of the Department of Health Tran Thi Nhi Ha confirmed that the number of hospitalized cases is on a decreasing trend. The proportion of critically ill patients and patients transferred to floors also tended to decrease.
Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Chu Xuan Dung assessed that in the past few days, the number of COVID-19 cases is still high, but the trend is decreasing, the rate of F0 patients being hospitalized is low, and the number of deaths is decreasing. That shows that the city has controlled the epidemic situation.
