Indonesia sets out four agendas to realize vision 2045

Speaking at a webinar on Economic Outlook 2022, Minister of SOEs said that in order for Indonesia to become the world’s fourth strongest economy by 2045, the government needs to prioritize promoting four programs. the agenda includes: the government, including state-owned enterprises, to implement the exploitation of natural resources in appropriate phases; improve visibility and understanding of Indonesia’s digital economy; creating a financial system that is competitive and friendly to both domestic and foreign investors; develop skilled workers to respond to digital literacy shortages. Entrepreneurs also need to have technology knowledge to promptly adapt to the digital age.

To achieve the above goals, Minister Thohir called for unity, harmony and unity throughout the country, creating a foundation for Indonesia’s sustainable development.
