Mr. Ho Nhan’s Nanogen Company won a series of prescription drug packages

In the 3 years of 2019 – 2021, Nanogen was announced to win a series of bidding packages for drug supply at many hospitals and medical facilities across the country with prices ranging from several hundred to billions of dong.

Accordingly, at the beginning of 2021, at the Medical Center of My Loc district, Nam Dinh province, Nanogen consecutively won the appointment of 3 additional packages of Erythropoietin alfa with a total value of nearly 300 million VND.

In December 2020, Nanogen was announced to win the Generic drug package at Thu Duc District Hospital (HCMC) with a total value of more than 999.9 million VND. The dossier shows that, for this bidding package, the contractor is selected according to the shortened form of appointment of contractor. Goods include injectable Nanokine 4000 IU in the form of injectable solution and Agifovir in the form of film-coated tablets.

In 2019, Nanogen also won many bidding packages to supply drugs at many hospitals in Ho Chi Minh City. Specifically, at Cu Chi District Hospital, Nanogen won the Generic drug package for more than 2.03 billion VND; At Oncology Hospital, Nanogen won the Generic drug package worth 69 million VND; At District 11 Hospital, Nanogen won a Generic drug package of more than 42 million VND, at Binh Tan District Hospital, Nanogen won a Generic drug package of more than 4.2 billion VND…

Nanogen was established in September 1997, with a charter capital of more than VND 800 billion, the main field of activity is the production of biopharmaceutical materials and finished products of special injectable drugs from recombinant DNA/Protein technology. This enterprise is noticed when it is one of three units that are researching a COVID-19 vaccine in Vietnam.

Previously, the General Director of Nanogen was Mr. Ho Nhan. Sharing with the press, Mr. Nhan said that he studied biotechnology abroad for many years before returning to Vietnam to set up a company to manufacture biotherapeutic drugs.

However, according to the national enterprise portal, on December 29, 2021, Nanogen’s legal representative changed from Mr. Ho Nhan – Chairman of the Board of Directors to Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Van, his wife. Mr. Nhan.

At the same time, the title of General Director, which was concurrently held by Mr. Ho Nhan, was also transferred to Ms. Van. Thus, Ms. Van is currently the General Director and legal representative of Nanogen.
