The incident occurred at a restaurant on Jalan Pending, Kuching City, Sarawak state, Malaysia.
According to images recorded from surveillance cameras, a man and woman believed to be lovers entered the restaurant. Not understanding beforehand that they had a dispute or conflict that the young man suddenly attacked his girlfriend from behind.
He aggressively rushed over, grabbed her shirt and knocked the girl to the ground before shocking the audience. When the girl fell to the ground, her boyfriend still refused to let her go and continued to beat and punch her very brutally.
Out of anger at the young man’s actions, several people rushed to intervene. However, the man was still aggressive and had no intention of stopping. Finally, a man in a red shirt swung his leg and kicked the young man to prevent him from continuing to hit his girlfriend.
It is known after the incident, the girl reported to the police and her boyfriend was arrested.
