Miley Cyrus said she was safe after the turbulent flight. Because of the incident, the singer and crew have not yet reached the concert venue.
According to Daily Mailon March 23, the flight carrying Miley Cyrus from Colombia to the capital Asuncion, Paraguay was caught in a fierce storm. Faced with this situation, the captain had to change course to Ciudad del Este, 330 km from Asuncion.
The plane then made an emergency landing, fortunately all passengers were safe. However, the vocalist’s plane Wrecking Ball damaged some parts because of being hit by lightning.
Sharing a short video recording the scary scene, accompanied by the screams of passengers, Cyrus shared: “The crew, the band, friends and family – who were with me on the flight – are all safe. Unfortunately we were not able to make it to Asuncion.”

Currently, Miley has to temporarily stay in Ciudad del Este for a few days to monitor the weather situation. Her upcoming concert in the capital of Paraguay is unknown whether it will take place as planned or not.

According to Daily Mail, album owner Plastic Hearts co-hosts the annual event in Chile with rapper A$AP Rocky and DJ Alesso.
