The whole country added 127,883 cases of Covid-19, more than 89,000 F0 in the community

On March 23, the whole country added 127,883 Covid-19 cases, of which 5 cases were imported and 127,878 cases were recorded domestically, down 2,853 cases compared to the previous day.

According to the Ministry of Health, out of 127,883 new cases in 62 provinces and cities, there are 89,186 cases in the community.

Cases in Hanoi tended to decrease but still ranked first in the country with 13,005 cases. The next highest number of cases are Phu Tho 5,307, Nghe An 4,425 cases, Lang Son 4,408 cases, Bac Ninh 4,398 cases, Lao Cai 4,149 cases, Hai Duong 4,034 cases.

The remaining cases were recorded in Bac Giang (3,997), Yen Bai (3,993), Vinh Phuc (3,577), Dak Lak (3,479), Son La (3,321), Quang Binh (3,175), Thai Binh (2,976). Ha Giang (2,934), Ben Tre (2,870), Tuyen Quang (2,856), Hung Yen (2,740), Quang Ninh (2,688), Ca Mau (2,678), Thai Nguyen (2,666), Hoa Binh (2,607), Cao Bang (2,444), Binh Dinh (2,348), Dien Bien (2,319), Lam Dong (2,247), Vinh Long (2,172), Bac Kan (2,039), Quang Tri (1,918), Lai Chau (1,903), Ha Nam (1,759). ), TP. Thus, the average of new infections in the country in the past 7 days is 146,192 cases/day. Since the beginning of the epidemic, Vietnam has 8,479,751 infections, ranking 14th out of 225 countries and territories. In the fourth epidemic wave (from April 27, 2021 to present), the number of infections recorded in the country is 8,472,072 cases, of which 4,658,453 patients have been declared cured.

According to the Ministry of Health, the localities with the highest number of cases in this epidemic are Hanoi (1,217,105), Ho Chi Minh City (586,910), Binh Duong (364,978), Nghe An (360,496) and Hai Duong (326,098).

Regarding treatment, during the day, 192,465 patients were declared cured, bringing the total number of cured cases to 4,661,270 cases. The number of serious patients being treated is 3,764 cases.

On March 23, the whole country had 61 deaths from Covid-19. Cases were recorded in Bac Lieu (5), Binh Duong (4), Hanoi (4), An Giang (3), Dong Nai (3), Lam Dong (3), Lao Cai (3), Quang Ninh (3), Bac Kan (2), Ben Tre (2), Can Tho (2), Dak Lak (2), Ha Giang (2), Khanh Hoa (2), Nam Dinh (2 shifts in 2 days), Quang Binh (2), HCMC (2), Binh Thuan (1), Dak Nong (1), Dien Bien (1), Dong Thap (1), Gia Lai (1), Ha Tinh (1), Kien Giang (1), Quang Nam (1), Soc Trang (1), Tay Ninh (1), Thai Nguyen (1), Thanh Hoa (1), Tra Vinh (1), Tuyen Quang (1) and Vinh Long ( first).

The average number of deaths in the past 7 days is 67 cases. The total number of deaths from Covid-19 in Vietnam so far is 42,075, accounting for 0.5% of the total number of infections.

According to the Ministry of Health, the total number of deaths in our country ranks 24 out of 225 territories. Compared to Asia, the total number of deaths ranks 6/49 (3rd in ASEAN).

Regarding testing, from April 27, 2021 to now, our country has carried out 37,465,790 test samples, equivalent to 83,048,614 turns of people, an increase of 163,163 samples compared to the previous day.

Regarding vaccination, on March 22, 1,115,043 doses of vaccine were administered. Thus, the total number of vaccine doses administered is 203,144,374 doses. In which, the number of injections for people aged 18 years and over is 186,055,910 doses. Number of doses for children aged 12-17 years is 17,088,464 doses.
