Previously, as reflected by Mrs. Bui Thi Nguyet (42 years old, living in Lam Trung Thuy commune, Duc Tho district), on the afternoon of January 16, her daughter TBTL (who is studying in 10th grade) and a friend went to a grocery store. shop near Mr. Thai Van Tinh’s house to buy sewing needles for clothes.

Arriving at the place, L. stood outside the car, and his friend asked to buy 2 sewing needles, but Mr. Tinh refused to retail but sold the whole box. The friend heard the owner say that, so he stopped buying needles and left.

Mr. Tinh heard L. say that, so he ran out of the store, chased after the car of two female students, and pulled L.’s friend in the back of the car and fell to the street. Mr. Tinh continued to beat L. continuously, then left home.

After that, L. was taken by her family to a provincial hospital for treatment and was diagnosed by a doctor with a concussion due to being beaten.

The female student’s mother said: “After 1 week of treatment at the hospital, my daughter was discharged home. However, during the process at home, he constantly complained of headaches and panic. Recently, when I went to school, I had a convulsion and vomiting. The family was too worried, so they continued to take him to a hospital in Nghe An for treatment.”

After the incident, the family of female student L. reported to the authorities. L. was taken to an injury assessment with a result of 6%.

Senior Colonel Tran Thanh Tuan, Deputy Head of the Police Investigation Agency of Duc Tho District, said that although L.’s injury assessment results were below 11%, because he was under 16 years old, there were still grounds for prosecution.
