Can Tho reports to the Government Inspector about the purchase of test kits from Viet A

According to this report, on February 24, the Chief Inspector of Can Tho City issued report No. 338/BC-TTr on the situation and progress of the above-mentioned thematic inspection. Accordingly, the total Covid-19 test kit purchased by the inspected units is related to Viet A Technology Joint Stock Company (Viet A Company) 98,448 kits, an amount of more than VND 39.2 billion. Of which, more than 22.7 billion VND has been paid, the remaining 16.5 billion VND has not been paid.

However, through working with relevant units, the total number of test kits that the units are inspected from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021 is 247,248 biological tests. Of which, 53,520 biological tests were paid, the amount of more than 22.7 billion VND; also borrowed 193,728 biological test products (value has not been determined, due to the unit borrowing goods).

Because the inspection progress did not guarantee the required time, the Can Tho City People’s Committee proposed the Government Inspector to extend the inspection time.
