Dealers quote Volkswagen T-Cross over 1 billion
The German B-brand CUV model imported from India has two versions priced at 1.1 billion and 1.3 billion dong, respectively, according to the agency.
A Volkswagen distributor in Vietnam has been taking orders for the VW T-Cross model since mid-March but has yet to reveal specific pricing. Meanwhile, dealers of German brands quoted T-Cross prices for customers of more than one billion VND. Some places have even announced expected prices for the two versions of the car, including the 1.1 billion Elegance and the 1.3 billion Luxury.

A company representative said that the Volkswagen T-Cross delivery time is expected to be around May and June. T-Cross is positioned by distributors to compete with competitors such as: Peugeot 2008 price 769-849 million dong, BMW X1 the price is 1.859 billion dong.
If the official price of the car is the same as at the dealership, then the T-Cross is considered by the company to be more advanced than popular French cars and one notch below German luxury cars. The highest selling price of 1.3 billion VND (from dealers) T-Cross lower than the standard version CUV size C Volkswagen, Tiguan around 400 million.
Represent Volkswagen Vietnam confirms, the T-Cross has two versions of Elegance and Luxury, using the same 1 liter turbocharged engine, with a capacity of 115 horsepower, maximum torque of 178 Nm. 6-speed automatic transmission. In India, where the B-sized CUV model was imported and named Taigun, the car has the option of a 1.5 liter TSI engine with 150 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.
The company has not yet determined the equipment differences between the two versions. Special Luxury version installs 17-inch alloy wheels and a sunroof. This car has 6 exterior colors to choose from: yellow, red, gray, white, blue, silver.
