Pogba annoyed MU: ‘I wasted 5 years of my career’

Paul Pogba has admitted that he has wasted the best time of his career in the Red Devils shirt in Manchester.

The contract between Pogba and MU expires at the end of the 2021/22 season. He will leave Old Trafford on a free transfer when the two sides cannot reach an agreement to continue.

In addition to the big guys like Juventus, Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain interested in Pogba, two other English teams, Newcastle and Aston Villa, also joined the race.

While focusing on France to prepare for friendly matches, Pogba shared with the media.

“The last five seasons I really feel dissatisfied. Five years thrown away, MU achieved nothing. Whether at MU or another team, I want to conquer titles.”

The 29-year-old midfielder admits his time at Old Trafford has been particularly bad under Jose Mourinho. Pogba was very depressed.

“Things got worse when I worked with Mourinho. If you ask yourself, am I at fault myself? Because of making money, you have to be happy all the time?

He is happier every time he joins the French national team

Things were simpler than when I was playing for France. I get to play in my preferred position and know my role well. I also feel the trust from the coach and teammates.

At MU, it was completely different because I had to change positions constantly, the team system and partners were also confused, so it was difficult to be consistent.

Honestly, I fit well with coach Deschamps. He gave me clear assignments. At MU, I don’t know what my role is. I asked myself the question but couldn’t find an answer.”
