His girlfriend removed the water pipe to check, and suddenly found a human skeleton inside. Tracey said of the moment: “He came out and said, ‘Tracey, you’re probably not going to believe this. I think there’s a body down there.”
At first, Tracey thought her boyfriend was lying and was trying to be funny. However, his girlfriend was very serious, so the couple went down to check on the situation. In the end, their fear came true, they confirmed that it was indeed a human bone.
Soon after, Tracey called the police. Tracey told investigators that since the first day she moved into the house she had occasionally smelled a very strange odor, but she thought it was the smell of a dead animal, so she didn’t let it.
“It smelled terrible. I had to open all the windows. I raved about it for a long time,” recalls Ms. Tracey.
State police proceeded to remove the remains from the water pipe. The bodies are in such extreme conditions of decomposition that it is difficult to ascertain the sex, manner or time of death. Police will have to carry out a forensic examination before they can draw any conclusions.
