The Korean coach pointed out ‘useful things’ after the draw in the Dubai Cup 2022

On the evening of March 23, U23 Vietnam spent the first match in the framework of Dubai Cup 2022. After 90 minutes of official play, the Golden Star Warriors left the field with a 0-0 draw.

In the match against Iraq U23, the whole team played in accordance with the strategy and tactical intentions I set out. The midfield has good ball control, the squad’s distance is guaranteed. However, Iraq U23 defended well so we could not score.

U23 Vietnam focuses on assembling gameplay to help the whole team play better together, which is very useful in the context of the approaching 31st SEA Games. The match against Iraq U23 brought many useful things to the players.

After the draw against U23 Iraq, U23 Vietnam had to face the injury of Lieu Quang Vinh. Defender Lieu Quang Vinh was seriously injured after a strong collision with the opponent and had to ask for the intervention of the medical team.

According to the schedule, coach Lee Young Jin’s teachers and students will continue to face Croatia U23. This match will take place on March 26.
