Architect Nguyen Ba Thieu, 30 years old in Binh Duong also brought his unique show consisting of eight trees.
The most notable is Anthurium crystallinum dark, which Thieu bought from Indonesia in October 2021. The tree is almost 20 years old and pot-shaped with a spreading head, nearly 40 leaves with an average diameter of 45 cm. Due to its large size, any transportation is very difficult. To have it in his collection as a garden nail art work, he had to shell out 50 million dong.
“I know for many people, the amount of money I spent was quite absurd, but for those who have played with ornamental leaves, I have no regrets,” said Thieu.
Thieu came to this hobby in 2016 when he saw the first Monstera deliciosa tree. Since then, he has studied and gradually collected his favorite plants and leaf shapes of Monstera deliciosa. Currently, he has collected more than 100 trees.
