‘Gear leaves’, 1 person died because of the ‘boom’ of flight attendants in Hanoi

After the hostess was sent to a karaoke bar to serve guests, a conflict occurred because of an argument about “burning money”, a fight that left 1 person dead in Hanoi.

The Hanoi People’s Procuracy has completed the indictment against defendants Dinh Hieu Trung (SN 1998, in Hoang Mai, Hanoi) and Pham Quoc Khanh (SN 1998, in Thanh Hoa) on charges of “disturbing public order”.

According to the indictment, from about March 2020, Trung and Khanh worked as staff to carry female flight attendants for Mr. Ta Duy Hoi (SN 1983, Nam Dinh hometown).

The two defendants were rented by Mr. Hoi to live with a group of flight attendants in Hoang Mai district.

Around 23:30 on July 9, 2020, Mr. Hoi received a phone call from the staff of Lam Minh Karaoke bar asking to bring a female employee to serve at the restaurant.

Mr. Hoi called Trung and told him to bring a female flight attendant, Ms. Nguyen Hai Yen (SN 2000, identity unknown) to Lam Minh karaoke bar.

At this time, Yen entered the singing room No. 1, along with some other staff serving a group of 14 guests who were singing karaoke.

About 1:40 a.m. the next day, Yen finished her shift and left the singing room, going down to the first floor. At this time, To Van Tu (SN 1983, in Yen Bai) and another person followed Yen.

Tu told Ms. Yen to stay and serve, otherwise she would not have to pay “gifts” (the cost of the female hostess sitting to serve guests, the price is about 300,000 VND/2 hours of service/hostess).

Yen did not agree and went to the door to call Khanh to tell him that the customer did not pay for the “gift”.

Khanh called to let Hoi know. Hoi told Khanh and Trung to come to the karaoke bar to wait for me.

Under the direction of the Pig, Khanh and Trung rode motorbikes to a karaoke bar to pick up Yen. Here, a scuffle broke out between Hoi’s group and Tu’s group.

During the fight, Hoi was severely injured by Tu’s group and fainted on the spot. He was taken to the emergency room, but due to his injuries, he died 3 days later from a traumatic brain injury.

After the case happened, the authorities investigated and clarified that To Van Tu and 7 other people had beaten Mr. Hoi to death.

In early November 2021, these people were sentenced by the Hanoi People’s Court from 12 years to life in prison for the crime of “Murder”, of which Tu was sentenced to 20 years in prison.

After the case happened, Dinh Hieu Trung was arrested in another drug-related case, and Khanh did not confess until December 15, 2021, confessing his crime.
