Lotus Emira “popular” sports car has a low-priced version

The new generation sports car Lotus Emira has just added a standard version with the lowest price of 1.8 billion.

British car company Lotus has recently announced detailed specifications of the all-new Emira sports car, along with the price of the car. The two versions using V6 and I4 engines only differ in the rear engine compartment. Meanwhile, the First Edition is distinguished from the regular versions by special logos, 20-inch wheels, LED lights, titanium-finished exhaust pipes and a glossy black painted rear end.

When purchasing Lotus Emira First Edition, customers will get three pre-equipped optional equipment packages. The first is the Driver’s Pack, which offers the option of a Touring chassis or a Sport chassis. The Design package brings dark glass, suede-covered ceilings, … and finally the Convenience package with equipment such as parking sensors, reversing camera, automatic wipers, …

Emira’s cockpit has a minimalist and sporty design. The gear lever on the manual version is said to be similar to the previous Esprit shift lever, and the V6 gear lever will be exposed to the gear selector mechanism below. The car has two electronic screens. A 10.25-inch screen located in the center console, touch. The other screen is located behind the steering wheel, responsible for displaying information.

In the standard version, Lotus Emira is equipped with a turbocharged 2.0L 4-cylinder AMG engine. However, the power is tweaked to produce only 360 horsepower and maximum torque of 430 Nm. The V6 version still uses Toyota’s 3.5L supercharged V6 engine, for a capacity of 400 horsepower and maximum torque of 420 Nm.

Lotus Emira can accelerate to 96 km / h in 4.3 seconds. The maximum speed achieved in the standard version is 283 km / h while the V6 version has a maximum speed of 290 km / h. The AMG-powered version is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission, both of which can be optionally paired with a manual transmission.

At the time of launch, there were four versions of Emira sold to customers. The lowest is the standard Emira using AMG engine, priced from £ 59,995 equivalent to VND 1.8 billion. The higher version is Emira First Edition for £71,995, equivalent to VND 2.16 billion.

In two versions with V6 engine, priced from 64,995 pounds equivalent to 1.95 billion and Emira V6 First Edition priced from 75,995 pounds equivalent to 2.28 billion. Lotus Emira First Edition can be ordered on the British sports car company’s website from April 8 and is expected to be delivered by the end of 2022. Other versions will begin to be available at dealers from the beginning of 2023. and can be ordered from this summer.
