“Denmark is a Nordic country, so the climate is cold all year round, much colder than the temperature of southern Vietnam. Moreover, everyone speaks Danish which is a language that I have never known. Even though I can speak English, because my English accent is not standard, they often don’t understand when I talk a lot.
Finally, the culture, here they have a completely different behavior culture than in Vietnam, so we have to learn to get used to everything, like how to talk and communicate. And culinary is also another way to learn, in the West they usually eat 3 main meals, 2 meals are cold food, only dinner they eat hot food. Vietnamese people eat 3 meals, all of them are hot. Vinh expressed.
Emma became a mother at the age of 19
1 month later, Mr. Vinh followed Emma home to debut. The first time he met his father-in-law, who was a businessman, Vinh was very nervous. Standing in front of an elderly man in a suit, he panicked in his stomach but was surprised when he reached out to shake his hand and said to him: “I heard Emma talking about you a long time ago. Thank you for putting up with my daughter“.
The ease and friendliness of his parents-in-law made Vinh breathe a sigh of relief. The more you interact, the more you feel like a part of the family. A few months later, Emma announced the pregnancy, the couple happily moved in together, preparing a home to welcome the little angel.

After giving birth, the mother receives a year’s salary to stay at home to take care of the child. Life before and after marriage is no different, the only problem Vinh and his wife face is to reconcile eating and drinking. Vinh likes Vietnamese food, while his wife prefers Western food.
On the first day of eating pho, Emma drained the water and used a fork to separate the fibers. Nordic girls can’t eat shrimp paste, afraid of rat meat and duck eggs. However, Emma is very persistent, meticulous, and will try to learn whatever she likes. Mr. Vinh teaches his wife to cook Vietnamese dishes, using chopsticks to pick up food.
“I really like my wife’s perseverance and hard work to learn. What the husband wants to do, he can definitely do it no matter how many times he fails. What he wants to change in his wife is her It’s a bit messy and I wasn’t good at cooking when I first met him, but it’s much better now than before.” Vinh revealed.

In early 2021, Vinh and his wife welcomed a little angel. The boy’s name is Vincent Huynh Ba Thien (4 years old), and the girl’s name is Angelina Huynh Khanh Linh (1 year old).
After many years in a foreign country, what Vinh is most satisfied with is a peaceful life, two obedient and healthy children. Both husband and wife are economically stable, do not have to think much about food and money. Vinh is currently working for Danfos company, one of the largest equipment groups in the world.
The father of two himself has learned Danish. However, both husband and wife still encourage the children to learn Vietnamese so as not to forget their native language. Although little boy Vincent is only 4 years old, his parents have trained to be independent from an early age, knowing how to dress, clean toys, eat, and clean his body.
