Ngoc Son built the farm according to his mother’s wish because he likes living in the countryside. He planned to build a stilt house here as a place to settle down in the afternoons, occasionally performing music to serve the peasants.

Ngoc Son also said that he has many orchards in several areas. Two years ago, an acquaintance of his cut two acres of land in Lam Dong for him. Ngoc Son was born on November 26, 1968 in Hai Phong, has lived in Bac Lieu since 1977. In 1987, he moved with his family to Ho Chi Minh City to stay and study at the School of Dramatic Art. Two years later, he switched to studying folk music and entered the professional singing path.
