“I’m very busy doing art, but my wife also has a hard time. Every day my wife leaves the house from 6:30 to 18:30 to come back from the office, sometimes later if the work has not been completed. At that time, I did not mind bathing the children, cooking rice, waiting for my wife to come back, then the whole family gathered together. Now that the two eldest daughters are grown up, I know how to help, I am much more relaxed,” said artist Ho Phong with a laugh. .

In 2017, at the age of 46, artist Ho Phong and his wife fortunately welcomed a baby boy. As a father of three young children, artist Ho Phong also often spends time talking and teaching his children. In addition to the hard times working at the People’s Public Security Theater and working on the set, artist Ho Phong spends most of his time sharing housework with his wife.

For him, there is no philosophy of parenting, because it is often said that “parents give birth to children, nature is born”: “Every parent teaches their children to be obedient to be good people, there is only teaching method. Every family’s education is different, depending on the circumstances,” said artist Ho Phong.

Throughout his filmmaking career, Meritorious Artist Ho Phong very rarely gets to play the role of a “good person”, sharing about this, artist Ho Phong said: “I think being a good person outside of life is more meaningful on the outside. When I play the villain, I get many reactions from the audience, but I think it’s a success when the artist makes a mark with his audience.
