The Hanoi Department of Health has just announced that from 6pm on March 24 to 6pm on March 25, 10,803 new Covid-19 cases were recorded, including 4,103 community cases.
The number of new cases recorded in a day is distributed in 403 communes, wards and townships in 30/30 districts, towns and cities.
Some districts and districts recorded many patients during the day such as: Ha Dong (1,615); Me Linh (689); Hai Ba Trung (689); Hoai Duc (525); Soc Son (495).

Earlier in the morning of the same day, at an online briefing session of the Steering Committee of Hanoi City for Covid-19 prevention and control with districts, towns and communes, wards and townships on epidemic prevention and control. Covid-19, Deputy Director of the Department of Health Vu Cao Cuong said that during the reporting period (from March 18 to 24), Hanoi city recorded 123,134 cases, 28 deaths; on average recorded 17,591 cases/day, down 39.3% compared to the previous reporting period.
According to the Department of Health, Hanoi has passed the peak of the epidemic, but it is not allowed to be subjective but needs to continue to perform well in epidemic prevention and control and monitor developments in the near future.
Due to the fact that the number of F0 cases is still high, the Department of Health suggested that localities focus on the core goals of epidemic prevention and control activities such as controlling floor migration, mortality rate, and severe transfer; ensure that the number of cases does not exceed the receiving capacity of the system; at the same time actively adapt flexibly and effectively control the Covid-19 epidemic.
Currently, the city is managing and treating 264,820 patients on the first floor (mild, asymptomatic), the rate of 99.34%; 1,404 patients on the 2nd floor (moderate symptoms), rate 0.53%; 345 patients on the 3rd floor (severe, critical), rate 0.13%.
Speaking at the conclusion of the meeting, Vice Chairman of the City People’s Committee Chu Xuan Dung said that in the past week, the number of F0 cases in the city has decreased sharply compared to the previous reporting period. The number of patients with mild symptoms without symptoms accounted for 99.34%; patients with moderate symptoms accounted for 0.53%; only 0.13% of patients are severe, critical, the number of deaths decreases.
“It shows that the city is well controlling the Covid-19 epidemic situation,” said Vice Chairman Chu Xuan Dung.
Regarding the problem of returning students to school in the city, Mr. Chu Xuan Dung suggested that the Department of Education and Training regularly update the guiding documents of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Training to have specifically guide localities to be more proactive in ensuring epidemic prevention and control for students from grades 7 to 12 who study directly at school.
Regarding the organization of semi-boarding for students, the City agreed on the policy and assigned the Department of Education and Training to consider and ensure that it is appropriate to the actual situation in the current epidemic prevention and control and the specific conditions of each locality. local, school, class, with the consent of the student’s family and parents.
