Minh Anh, leading the delegation, said that tourism has been completely open since March 15, so many groups of tourists book tours to go on weekends. For corporate groups, most companies choose 5-star resorts because in addition to resting, there is also space for outdoor collective activities.

The resort’s representative said that this weekend, hundreds of hotel apartments and more than 100 villas have been fully booked. Accordingly, guests mainly come from Hanoi.

Avana Retreat Resort (Hoa Binh) is fully booked on weekends from now until April 30. Sundays and Mondays are also almost full. According to the resort’s representative, many people who couldn’t make a reservation for the weekend have accepted to go on a weekday vacation, so the weekdays in March are also gradually filling up.

A representative of WE Travel, which specializes in booking resorts and travel combos, said other popular resorts near Hanoi such as Serena Resort Kim Boi, Mai Chau Ecolodge, Bakhan Resort Mai Chau in Hoa Binh and Melia Ba Vi (Ba Vi), Tomodachi Village Jackfruit (Son Tay) in Hanoi are also always full at the weekend from now until the next holiday April 30. Currently, there are only a few agents with available room funds.

According to him, this is a predicted tourism trend. After a long time unable to travel due to COVID-19, Hanoi tourists are being “compressed” in tourism demand. So when the city reopens, they prioritize short trips, mainly on weekends with relatives and friends to isolated, private and beautiful places.
