Honda Civic e:HEV welcomes the world, starting at 34,300 USD

This gasoline-fueled size C electric sedan is equipped with a 2.0 petrol engine combined with two electric motors, with a CVT gearbox and lithium-ion battery. The e:HEV hybrid powertrain allows to change smart driving modes with three modes, including electric driving mode (EV Drive Mode), mixed driving mode (Hybrid Drive Mode) and gasoline engine only driving mode (Engine Drive Mode). When using Engine Drive Mode, the driver can select 3 modes Econ, Normal and Sport.

To distinguish it, Honda uses the letter H logo on the blue frame and the e:HEV logo on the rear, featuring a grille and sports front bumper. LED headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights, LED taillights, shark fin antenna and new 17-inch alloy wheels in a new color.

The interior is similar to the gasoline engine version, the space is spacious, the rear seats can be folded 60:40 to increase storage space. 10 inch TFT dashboard behind the wheel with multiple display modes. Floating 9 inch entertainment touchscreen, support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wireless connectivity, wireless phone charging, remote car start.

The Japanese automaker has equipped the Civic e:HEV with Honda Sensing safety technologies, such as collision mitigation braking, adaptive cruise control, pushing the car in front to depart, lane assist, lane departure warning, and automatic adaptive phase lights, camera lane assist display. .

As planned, the Honda Civic e:HEV will sell two versions, the EL+ and the RS. Price from 34,300-37,900 USD. The car was first sold in Thailand from March 24, then to the European market.
