Dear Poland

Having lived in the city of Kiev for more than 30 years, Mr. Nguyen Van Nam – the owner of a business shop had to give up his entire business and flee to Poland with his family. The thing that Mr. Nam feels warmest when he first arrives at Nhan Hoa Pagoda (Warsaw, Poland) is to meet his compatriots.

Here, members of Kinh Bac Village Council (including two provinces of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh) visited and supported rice and other items for people in exile. The reunion of people in the same place “buried together to cut their navel” in a foreign land brought Mr. Tuan and many other relatives joy and peace of mind.

Mr. Do Xuan Thanh – Vice Chairman of Kinh Bac compatriots in Poland said that right from the first days when Vietnamese people came here from Ukraine to take refuge, the Association called on its members to join hands to help people, especially those living in poverty. fellow Kinh Bac.

Standing side by side with the Vietnamese Association in Poland in assisting refugees, its members determined that if the people who come here need to find a house or a job, they are always enthusiastic to help.

Strongly responding to the movement, the Thanh Hoa Compatriot Council in Poland also called on members to join hands in the spirit of those who have a house, an empty room or can stay together to save a few dong. smell. The association also donated each blanket, mattress, bed… to support people in difficult and missed times.

Ms. Tran Thi Hien – an active member of Thanh Hoa Country Council shared: “During the days when the Russia-Ukraine situation was tense, a number of Vietnamese relatives and groups in Ukraine contacted directly with Mr. we offered to help when they were on their way to Poland. Unable to ignore this perilous situation, we have called on a number of relatives to lend their houses and rooms as temporary accommodation for them to wait through the tragedy.”

Chairman of Thanh Hoa compatriots Council Do Viet Nam said: “Our association temporarily suspended all activities to devote all our attention to relief work.”

Fortunately, the Association’s enthusiasm is enthusiastically supported by fellow countrymen, from spirit, material to time and effort. The association has established a team of “0-dong Taxi” in Warsaw, consisting of more than 10 volunteers who are ready to transport refugees from Ukraine.

Many other compatriots also actively joined the movement. According to President of the Vietnamese Association in Poland Tran Anh Tuan, one of the advantages of the relief work is the active and active activities of the compatriots’ councils, including the Nghe Tinh compatriots’ council. When the people of Nghe An and Ha Tinh came here from Ukraine, the members of the association enthusiastically arranged accommodation and meals for them.

Tuan said: “Everyone is ready to help their compatriots. Many individuals are willing to arrange and receive 2 or 3 people in their families. Under these circumstances, compatriotism is precious. Sharing before difficulties and tribulations is also a good tradition of overseas Vietnamese.
