Argentina was one of the first countries in Latin America to establish diplomatic relations with Vietnam in 1973 and since that time, the friendly and cooperative relationship between the two countries has continuously developed.

Up to now, Vietnam and Argentina have become important partners of each other, cooperating comprehensively in all fields from politics, culture, economy, trade, defense, technology, education to education. environment, as well as support and support each other in international forums.

Starting from that foundation, during his term in Vietnam from 2017-2020, Ambassador Raleigh made many contributions to help the bilateral relationship continue to be consolidated, and at the same time opened up new development directions with many new developments. high-level visits, especially the official visit of President Mauricio Macri to Vietnam in early 2019, participated in promoting and expanding economic and trade relations between the two countries and achieved important achievements. .
