The UN Security Council extends the mandate of the Working Group to assist in monitoring North Korea sanctions

In addition to unanimously adopting Resolution 2627 under Chapter VII of the UN Charter, the Security Council also emphasized that the above group will make assessment reports, analysis and recommendations that are reliable, fact-based, independent and objective, fair opinion and in line with the task of the Expert Group as prescribed in Article 26 of Resolution 1874 (2009).
