Prof. TS.BS Tran Quang Binh, Medical Director at the hospital that imported Evusheld monoclonal antibodies to Vietnam, said that it is estimated that about 2% of the global population belongs to the group of moderate and severe immunodeficiency such as HIV, Cancer, organ transplant, high-dose corticosteroids… need a protective shield against Covid-19, when they can’t be injected or have been vaccinated but don’t produce enough antibodies to fight SARS-CoV-2.

Evusheld injections rarely have side effects, if any are usually very mild such as headache, fatigue, cough… However, after the injection, the customer will be kept for 45-60 minutes and will be given a certificate of injection and Instructions for monitoring after injection at home, checking pulse, temperature, blood pressure, measuring SpO2… stabilize before leaving.

Evusheld is not allowed to be used to prevent Covid-19 for subjects who can be vaccinated.
