Tonight, honor and award the Outstanding Young Face of Vietnam Award in 2021

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc will attend and speak at the commendation ceremony. The program will be broadcast live on channel VTV6 – Vietnam Television and broadcast live on digital platforms of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union.

Attending the Commendation Ceremony were also representatives of leaders of central ministries, departments and branches; Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Union; representatives of central and local press agencies.

At the Commendation Ceremony, typical Vietnamese young faces and prospects for 2021 will share their dream stories; journey of effort, overcoming difficulties and hardships, making a commitment to conquer the goals, as well as the desire to devote to the Fatherland and the people.

Inspiring stories of young faces will spread positive values, so that more and more advanced examples will appear, bringing with them the desire to overcome their limits to contribute more to their homeland, country.

In 2021, the Typical Young Vietnamese Face Award received 138 applications from 44 nominations. The awarding committee for the First Meeting (January 25, 2022) selected 20 typical nominees for the online voting round. Within 2 weeks of organizing a vote on a single system at: www.tainnangtrevietnam.vn, it attracted over 12 million votes, an increase of 6.24% of the total number of votes compared to the previous year.

On March 4, 2022, the 2nd meeting of the Awards Committee considered, discussed and voted by secret ballot to choose 10 typical young Vietnamese faces, 9 promising young faces in 2021 in 9 fields. (study, scientific research – creativity, production labor, business start-up, national defense, security and order, physical training and sports, social activities, culture and art).

The young people who received this year’s awards are all people with excellent achievements in the following fields: Having young faces who have won many international Olympic medals in the field of study; has a young face as a scientific researcher with outstanding research works; has a typical young face in good production and business, starting a business right in his native land; having a young face who is a brave and courageous soldier in the fight against crime, ensuring social order and safety; young faces are dedicated doctors and nurses who are taking care of the people’s health day and night; young faces are typical athletes for training efforts, high will and determination; young faces are artists who are passionate about dedicating and preserving the national cultural identity; especially with young faces in their teenage years.

The typical young Vietnamese faces in 2021 received along with prestigious awards such as Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister; Certificate of Merit from the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union; Commemorating the Medal of the Typical Young Vietnamese Face Award… Cash rewards for typical Vietnamese young faces increased from 10 million VND (in 2020) to 50 million VND/person, and 20 million VND/person for the promising young Vietnamese face in 2021.

The award “Typical young Vietnamese face” is the most noble award of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee with the aim of honoring typical young people with outstanding achievements, creating a wide spread. in the community about their efforts and striving to rise above the fields of study, scientific research, physical training, sports, labor, production, and defense of the Fatherland.

The award aims to create motivation to develop young talents and promote the movement of emulation in learning, training, scientific research, labor and creativity among youth; consolidating and developing the organization of the Youth Union, Association and Team at the same time attracting the attention of all levels, branches and the whole society to the cause of education and fostering of the young generation.

The award “Typical young Vietnamese face” is carried out nationwide and in all Youth Unions, Teams and Associations, including overseas unions and associations for young people of the age group. under 35, including Vietnamese youth studying and working abroad.

The award is considered and presented annually on the occasion of the founding anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26).

Over the past 25 years, the Typical Young Vietnamese Face Award has honored 250 typical Vietnamese young faces in the following fields: Study, scientific research, production labor, business – start-up, activities social activities, State administrative management, national defense, security and order, physical training and sports, culture and art. The vast majority of typical young faces after being awarded the award have continued to strive, dedicate, grow up to make more contributions, make greater contributions, and enhance the glorious tradition of Vietnamese youth.
