Fire in a shopping mall in An Giang
The fire destroyed 40 clothing and department stores in the commercial center of Cai Dau city, Chau Phu district, causing damage of about 5 billion VND, on the morning of March 27.

At around 2 a.m., a fire broke out from a clothing store with a loud explosion. At that time, the small businessmen were getting ready to pack up things, and when they found them, they immediately called, and together with others, put out the fire and alerted the fire department.
The Chau Phu County Fire Department and district police sent people and multiple fire trucks to the scene. After more than an hour, the fire was extinguished.

The fire did not cause any casualties, but 30 shops in the Nguyen Khoai area (selling cloth and clothing), 10 shops in the department store caught fire.
