Giant white diamond on display in Dubai

Christie’s auction house said the diamond, weighing 228.31 carats, has a pear shape, found in South Africa more than 20 years ago. This is the largest white pear-shaped diamond available, graded by the Gemological Institute of America and auctioned.

“The Rock” will be on display in Dubai from March 26-29, then Christie’s auction house will carry out other exhibitions in Taiwan (China), New York (USA) and finally in New York. Geneva (Switzerland), where the auction of this diamond will take place on 11/5. Christie’s predicts the diamond could be worth $30 million.
