Resort representatives said that this weekend, hundreds of hotel apartments and more than 100 villas were fully booked. Thus, the guests mainly came from Hanoi.

Avana Retreat Resort (Hoa Binh) is fully booked on weekends from now until 30 April. Sunday and Monday are almost full too. According to resort representatives, many people who can’t make reservations for the weekend have accepted to go on weekday vacations, so the weekdays in March are also gradually filling up.

A WE Travel representative, who specializes in resort bookings and travel combos, said other popular resorts near Hanoi such as Serena Resort Kim Boi, Mai Chau Ecolodge, Bakhan Resort Mai Chau in Hoa Binh and Melia Ba Vi (Ba Vi), Tomodachi Jackfruit Village ( Son Tay) in Hanoi is also always full on weekends from now until next holiday April 30th. Currently, there are only a few agents with room funds available.

According to him, this is a tourism trend that has been predicted. After a long time unable to travel due to COVID-19, Hanoi tourists are “compressed” in tourism demand. So when cities reopen, they prioritize short trips, especially weekends with relatives and friends to secluded, private and scenic places.

Many families choose to live near Hanoi for convenient transportation.

Currently the number of guests is still dominated by domestic guests, the hotel has also welcomed and served international guests. However, the number of visitors is still relatively low.

According to hotel representatives, the number of guests who booked rooms for the upcoming holiday from April 30 to May 1 has reached full occupancy. Compared to the time before the holiday, room rates also increased by about 30% compared to normal days.

In particular, the room rate on holidays April 30 to May 1 for visitors who book in advance is around 700,000 VND/room. However, customers will experience more service and quality of service at the best level. At the same time, guests who book rooms at the hotel will also receive discounted cable car tickets at a discount of around 40,000 VND/ticket.

At the Sapa Eco-Home resort, guest numbers are also starting to show signs of increasing again before the April 30 to May 1 tourism holiday. Lu A Tau – Resort owner said: “Currently, the number of visitors to Sapa has started to show signs of increasing again.

Especially on weekends, the number of orders is almost full. These visitors are mostly domestic visitors from Hanoi and some neighboring provinces.
