Right off the main road near the Vinh Tuy bridge area, the traffic was jammed.

Many families, when they arrived, heard the announcement of the suspension of hot air balloon flights, so they had to turn their cars back.

But there are also many people waiting patiently.

The entrance to the hot air balloon area was blocked by the organizers.

However, many people still want to visit.

Despite the announcement of the temporary suspension, there are still hundreds of people outside the Red River mudflats.

To meet the interests of the people, the organizers have stretched the balloons up for visitors to take pictures.

Because it was a weekend, many people had time to come here, so they actively changed their schedule from going to experience hot air balloons to taking pictures.

At about 11:30 a.m., the number of people flocking to the longan garden area, at the foot of Vinh Tuy bridge, was still very crowded.

According to the representative of the organizers, yesterday due to the large number of visitors, many people still could not wait for their turn to experience. On the morning of March 26, the event welcomed about 5,000 visitors. At 16:30, the number of people flocking here is increasing, even there is a traffic jam in the entrance area. Many people had tickets in hand, queued for 5 hours, but still could not fly.

On the morning of March 27, according to the announcement of the Organizing Committee of the Hot Air Balloon Festival 2022, the hot air balloon flight will be temporarily suspended due to uncertain weather.

“This morning the wind was too strong, we stopped flying the hot air balloon, if the wind direction is stable, we will continue, otherwise we will cancel the whole thing. For those who have bought tickets, we will refund them all,” said the head of the organizers.
