On March 27, the second quarter contest “Road to Olympia” was broadcast, with the competition of four male students: Tran Ngo Tuan Khoa (Le Thanh Tong High School for the Gifted, Quang Nam), Phan Le Thuc Bao (Hue Specialist at Quoc Hoc). , Vu Bui Dinh Tung (specialist in Tran Phu, Hai Phong) and Phan Van Khai (specialist in Le Quy Don, Khanh Hoa).

Accordingly, the candidates who followed Dinh Tung were Phan Le Thuc Bao (Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted – Thua Thien Hue) with 110 points; Phan Van Khai (Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted – Khanh Hoa) with 75 points; Tran Ngo Tuan Khoa (Le Thanh Tong High School for the Gifted – Quang Nam) with 70 points.

Winning the difference between three players, Dinh Tung is the second face to participate in the final match of Road to Olympia in 2022.

Dinh Tung shared, he was very proud because he was able to bring the videoconference of the final year to Hai Phong after 11 years and to Tran Phu High School for the Gifted after 14 years of waiting.

The contest “Pride of Vietnam” was launched on December 20, 2021. The competition consists of rounds: individual online elimination round; final round of province, city and final round of national ranking.

The contest attracted more than 691,400 contestants, with nearly 2 million contestants taking part in the individual online qualifiers.

Vu Bui Dinh Tung in turn won the first prize in week 1, individual online competition round; At the city level, he got 210 points in the multiple-choice test (2nd place) and got the highest score in the written test.

Tung said, he feels very happy, happy and proud when he won 2 big competitions in two consecutive days: Learn the history and national culture “Proud of Vietnam” and The road to Olympia.

“I tried my best. I would like to express my sincere thanks to my relatives, teachers, friends and audience who have always believed and supported me during the past 2 competitions. I promise to try harder to conquer the final competition of the year Road to Olympia, taking place in October this year,” Tung shared.

Tung said that history is my favorite subject since I was a child, and I always find it interesting in this subject. “Since I was a child, I have been looking for books on history to read, borrowed history textbooks from my older siblings to study and been fascinated,” Tung said. Besides, Tung watched documentaries and chronicles; Listen to stories of historical witnesses to build up knowledge and understand deeply about the history of culture and nation. After studying history, Tung often systematizes his views by using questionnaires and multiple-choices.

According to Tung, studying the history of the nation’s culture will strengthen his knowledge and foster patriotism and national pride for himself.

It is known that Tung is a multi-talented guy, and actively participates in Union and Association activities. Tung used to participate in the campaign “Rescuing vegetables 2021” organized by Nghia Xa Ward Youth Union and Jardin De’ Smeraldo Club.

As a math major, Tung actively participates in writing competitions. Tung Tu won the third prize in the writing and poetry contest “Doan in my heart” organized by Hai Phong Youth Union in 2021.
