According to the investigation, Money and Hoa had a money conflict. On February 24, the two made an appointment to go to Long Toan Bridge, in Duyen Hai town, to cut their hands. Then, Tien gathered forces, prepared weapons to cut each other with Hoa.

Around 20:20 on the same day, Tien’s group gathered 11 people, including Tam, Huynh, and Duong. Hoa’s group consisted of about 20 people, including a gunman.

When they met, Hoa’s group opened fire and overpowered Tien’s group. At that time, Tran Thanh Giang (living in Bac Lieu), Tien’s friend, was pointed at his head by Hoa holding a gun. Giang waved his hand and hit Hoa’s head with a brick. Immediately, Hoa’s group used bricks and sticks to attack Tien’s group.

And yet, Tien’s group also used knives and bricks to fight back and attack the opponent. While running, Hoa was stabbed several times by the Tien group.

On March 26, Tra Vinh Provincial Police arrested Hoa.

Searching Hoa’s house, Tra Vinh Provincial Police seized many objects and documents, including papers related to lending and borrowing activities.
