Forgot to pay, Mercedes owner asked someone to find a gas station to send it back

Interesting but also quite rare story related to forgetting to pay refuel just shared by Mr. Vu Quang in Hanoi with VietNamNet.

On March 27, Quang and some friends went to Vinh city (Nghe An) to attend the wedding in his Mercedes-Benz GLS. When returning to Hanoi in the evening, the car stopped at a gas station on Highway 1 in Dien Chau district to refuel.

However, after leaving the gas station for more than 40 minutes, the owner of this car was startled to remember that he had not… paid, the amount was 1 million dong. Feeling quite sorry for his absent-mindedness, but because he had gone quite far, he could not return, Quang and his group of friends had to continue moving, but their hearts were heavy.

Too impatient, he asked a friend in the city. Vinh early this morning (March 28) went along Highway 1, passing through Dien Chau district to find a gas station. And fortunately, this friend through his description found the right address and returned the money to the gas station staff, along with an apology for the absenteeism of the car owner.

“Forgot to pay, the gas station staff will have to pay out of pocket to make up. Just thinking about it makes me very guilty and wants to find a way to return the money to the employee. Fortunately, it’s my friend. I was very enthusiastic to find the above gas station and return the money soon, I was relieved of the burden.” Quang said.

Quang said that the above gas station is located far from the city. Vinh is about 30km. When his friend came to ask, he immediately met the employee who sold him gas yesterday. This lady was very happy and also quite surprised when she received the money that the luxury car customer “forgot” to pay yesterday afternoon.

Before that, after returning to Hanoi on the evening of March 27, Mr. Vu Quang posted his irony situation on a car group with the aim of asking the community to help find the gas station he had just forgotten to pay, but almost forgot to pay. there is no specific information because this road has many gas stations with similar appearance.

After “updating” the information that he had paid the amount of 1 million dong to the gas station worker, the owner of this Mercedes-Benz GLS received a lot of congratulations and compliments from the community. In fact, many recent cases where drivers intentionally “forgot” to pay when going to fill up on gas have been recorded, causing many people’s frustration.
