Hanoi added 9,328 new COVID-19 cases, total cases exceeded 1.63 million VND

Patients are distributed in 421 communes, wards and townships in 30/30 districts, towns. Some districts recorded many patients in a day such as: Ha Dong (1,244); Hoang Mai (649), Long Bien (527), Thanh Tri (500), Soc Son (402).

The cumulative number of cases in Hanoi during the 4th outbreak (from April 29, 2021) to now is 1,450,118 cases. The capital has also just reported an additional 180,000 cases of COVID-19, bringing the total number of COVID-19 cases to more than 1.63 million people.

By the end of March 27, Hanoi had 238,072 patients being treated and monitored (a decrease of 7,000 cases), of which only 1,675 people were treated at the hospital; 192 people receive treatment at the district/town/town collection; the rest more than 236,200 people are isolated at home.

In recent days, the number of deaths from COVID-19 in a day in the capital is only about 1-3 people. The total number of deaths from COVID-19 (from April 27, 2021 to present) is 1,320 people.

Regarding COVID-19 vaccination, 87% of people aged 18 years and over have received the 3 booster dose, besides, nearly 100% of people who need an additional injection have been vaccinated.
