Marrying a man almost the same age as her mother, the girl lost all her friends-Young friend

The girl (23 years old) married to the man (45 years old) said that she lost friends and faced malicious comments on social networks.

Savanna Miller (23 years old) and her husband Mark (45 years old) in Sydney (Australia), first “scanned” each other on Tinder 5 years ago when she was 18 years old. Then they ran into each other on a night out and realized that they had ‘met’ each other a lot on Tinder.

The couple soon fell in love and got married in February 2021. They now have plans to build a family together in the future. Savanna’s family has always supported their relationship, even though her mother is only 7 years older than Mark, she still calls him “son”.

Savanna is proud to have an age gap relationship with Mark

Savanna says: “Love the person you love and don’t be swayed by others. I am so grateful for the friends I lost in this relationship. If your friends are not supportive of you, they are not true friends. Both of our parents are completely supportive of our relationship. My mother calls him son and she is only 7 years older than Mark (the same age as his brother). He’s really close to my family and vice versa.”

From the moment they met, Savanna said she felt Mark was different from other boyfriends and their relationship quickly developed.

She said: “I’m not really attracted to my previous boyfriends nor am I intimate with any of them. Don’t get me wrong, they’re lovely guys and I’m still great friends with them but physically there’s nothing attractive about them – even though other girls my age have always liked them. But the amazing thing is that I found a physical attraction to him as well as the depth of our conversation.”

Although neither Mark nor Savanna have had an age difference relationship before, they have never felt it was an issue.

She said: “Our relationship just moved from one stage to another spontaneously without verbal confirmation. Neither of us told the other, we came together naturally.

Her other relationships were affected because she chose to be with Mark

After they got together, Savanna introduced Mark to her family and luckily everything went very well. But other relationships have suffered because she chose to be with him, including close friendships.

She said: “His friends are great and wonderful, many of them are really my best friends now. But I lost two of my best friends because they couldn’t get along when talking to my husband due to his age difference. I always consider myself lucky to have lost them because I don’t believe that if they were real friends, they wouldn’t have treated me like that.”

At the end of 2020, the two decided to get married. Savanna says: “None of us are too romantic and he said we’re getting married around the end of 2020 and I just laughed it off. One day we were on our way to hang out with friends at a coffee shop. favorite in Napier, New Zealand, eating smoked salmon sandwiches and he just said: ‘Pick a date and let’s get married’ I laughed and said pick a random date, he agreed. We’re getting married next month.”

The couple is planning to have a baby

The couple had a small wedding with closest friends and family on February 20, 2021, on the balcony of their own home. Currently, the couple is planning to have a baby in the near future.

Savanna said:We are both planning to have children but in no hurry. As always, we have to plan and discuss everything we do. So we wrote it for four years. Now, we want more adventure, travel and success at work. We have traveled domestically and abroad, always exploring and looking for opportunities to grow together. Life should be an adventure and settling down doesn’t mean staying in one place.”

The couple also posted about their relationship on TikTok, which has nearly 100,000 followers. While most of the reviews they received were positive, they also received a few negative ones.

Savanna shared: “It’s amazing because we get hundreds of messages from people in the same boat who say our sharing makes them feel better about their relationship.
