Max Verstappen wins Saudi Arabia GP

Despite getting the first place, Red Bull driver Sergio Perez was unable to preserve that advantage to get the stage victory. Perez led the race with a safe distance and decided to change the tire, but soon after this driver entered the pit, an accident happened that caused the safety car to appear. Perez therefore could not take advantage of the new tires to increase the distance with the chasing group, but on the contrary he was caught up and let Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz pass. The Mexican driver then, despite trying very hard, only got 4th place in the end.

After passing Perez, Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc continued to have dramatic competition. Leclerc led most of the rest of the race, but Verstappen also persisted in chasing and gradually closed the gap. The Dutchman’s efforts paid off when, in lap 47, he pushed through and took the lead from Leclerc. The Ferrari driver then continued to attack to regain his position but was unsuccessful.

In the end, Verstappen won the Saudi GP race with a distance of only 0.5s faster than the 2nd ranked driver Charles Leclerc, while Carlos Sainz finished 3rd. The driver has won 7 times. world Lewis Hamilton only finished 10th in this race.
