Holders of vaccine passports of these countries entering Vietnam and holders of Vietnamese passports to these countries may apply the same medical measures as those who have been vaccinated in their home country.

At this point, the question is who will be issued vaccine passports? Do you have to have 3 injections to get a passport? Reporter: Sir, can people who have only received 1 dose of the COVID-19 vaccine get a passport?

Mr. Nguyen Ba Hung: All people who have been vaccinated against vaccines and have data entered into the system will be issued with an electronic vaccination certificate. Those who inject 1, 2 or 3 injections, each injection will be updated on the system, so and there is a QR Code, in foreign countries people will read that QR Code and it will show the information we have injected. 1, 2 or 3 stitches.

The entry is according to the regulations of each country, even the type of vaccine is according to the regulations, not the type of injection, in different countries people also recognize that type, for example, Vietnam today. received 8 vaccines, the latest one is type 9, but when negotiating to recognize each other’s vaccine passports, some countries only recognize 3 types.

Reporter: So how will the implementation of vaccine passport issuance be done and what note do you have to the people, especially when there are millions of unconfirmed injections?

Mr. Nguyen Ba Hung: The grant process consists of 3 steps.

Step 1 is that the vaccination facilities will have to check the information of the people injecting on the system, then enter the data into the vaccination system, then the facilities will perform digital signatures to authenticate the people’s information. injection is correct.

Step 2: The Department of Preventive Medicine (Ministry of Health) will perform centralized digital signature.

Step 3: People will receive an electronic vaccination certificate on the portal, either on the PC-COVID application or the electronic Health Book application. Currently, there are about 80 million injections with incorrect information about citizen identification or have not been entered into the system.

The Ministry of Health has sent a document to the People’s Committees of the provinces and cities directly under the Central Government to direct the Department of Health to coordinate with the provincial police to review, verify and enter additional information. We recommend that when going for vaccination, people fully and accurately declare information to ensure their interests related to the issuance of paper certificates as well as the issuance of electronic certificates.
