As for the whole market, entering the afternoon session, VN-Index had a time of falling nearly 25 points, to the lowest level of 1,473.80 points, although it had recorded bottom-fishing cash flow to enter the market, but by 2:30 pm, the stock market index fell by nearly 25 points. “For stocks with fundamentals behind them, the sell-off will be less. As for stocks that are highly speculative, where investors run after cash flow or stock prices, When there is any rumor, in the short term, people will sell out,” said Mr. La Giang Trung.

According to Mr. Trung, when we put money in highly speculative stocks, we put ourselves in a situation where we have to react to short-term news whether they are true or not.

3 scenarios for VN-Index?

In addition to the movements of the “family” of stocks, FLC, Mr. La Giang Trung made a forecast about 3 scenarios of VN-Index in 2022.

The first scenario and also the most positive, according to Mr. Trung, VN-Index will increase 5-10% compared to the current level (reaching 1500 – 1600 points). Mr. Trung assessed that the occurrence rate of this scenario was quite low, around 20%.

The second scenario is that VN-Index will move sideways around 1,500 points. The probability for the scenario is about 30% or so.

Finally, the scenario VN-Index decreases 10-20% compared to the present time (at 1,300 – 1,500 points). Passion Investment CEO thinks that this scenario has the highest probability (40 – 50%).
