During an event on the sidelines of ITU Digital World 2021 last October, Mr. Zhao Houlin, General Secretary of the International Telecommunication Union, commented that Vietnam does not follow the path of buying products and services from large foreign companies. but has chosen the direction of self-research and development. He believes that this is the right path when Vietnam is self-sufficient in technology, with “Made in Vietnam” products.
“Vietnam has reached out to foreign markets, using systems made in Vietnam. This is what I want members of ITU to learn because it is a successful and sustainable way to invest,” said Mr. Zhao. .
