This morning (March 29), Phu Quoc High Speed ​​Boat Joint Stock Company (Phu Quoc Express) opened the Da Nang-Ly Son waterway passenger transport route and put the Trung Trac train into operation to serve customers.

According to the leader of Phu Quoc Express, this is a new tourism product, contributing to promoting tourism activities of the two localities, especially after the Covid-19 pandemic nearly 2 years ago. The journey connecting Da Nang city with Ly Son island district will help people and tourists travel conveniently, quickly and safely.

Trung Trac train has 2 floors.

Trung Trac train is designed according to European standards, using environmentally friendly Rolls Royce MTU engines, meeting the needs of serving nearly 600 guests and shortening the travel time from Da Nang to Ly Son just over 2 hour.

The train is designed quite spacious, comfortable, polite interior.

Trung Trac ship will operate the first trip on April 9 with the initial frequency of 4 flights/week, Tuesday and Saturday departing at 8:00 am from Song Han port (Da Nang) to Ly Son island; Wednesday and Sunday depart at 2pm from Ly Son island to Da Nang. After the experience period, the company will exploit 2 trips and return in the day.

Trung Trac train has a length of 44.7m, a capacity of 612 people, of which passengers are 598 people.

During the opening ceremony, the company will apply a 20% discount on tickets for visitors until the end of April 30, 2022.

The Da Nang Department of Tourism said that the operation of the Da Nang-Ly Son inland waterway tourist route with a length of 70 nautical miles helps shorten the time and distance compared to using road vehicles to Ho Chi Minh City.
