Ms. Han Ni said that she once sent a denunciation to the Ministry of Public Security and the Ho Chi Minh City Public Security Department about Ms. Hang in the livestreams slandered, humiliated and insulted her. But then, Ms. Han Ni’s application was transferred to the Binh Duong Provincial Police for handling.

Today, the Ho Chi Minh City Police officially asked journalist Han Ni to add documents and evidence related to the above denunciation.

Ms. Hang also went on social networks, saying that she would “follow and kill”, so Ms. Han Ni continued to file a denunciation with the Ho Chi Minh City Police about Ms. Hang showing signs of “murder threats”. Han Ni also suggested that the police agency have an emergency protection plan against these threats.

Recently, on the morning of March 23, Han Ni and a group of friends went to have breakfast at a restaurant near her house in District 7 when a group of 4 people insulted and attacked. Currently, Ms. Han Ni has filed a denunciation with the Ho Chi Minh City Police and District 7 police, proposing to prosecute the case and prosecute the accused against this group of 4 people.
Recently, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department has received applications from individuals accusing Ms. Hang through the internet of slandering, humiliating others, abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State. , the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals and the threat of murder.
During the verification and settlement of denunciations related to Ms. Hang, the police determined, on April 8, 2021, the Department of Information and Communications of Ho Chi Minh City has sanctioned her for an administrative violation regarding the act of providing false information, insulting the reputation of the People’s Committee of Binh Thuan province.
Currently, Ms. Hang manages and uses 12 social media channels and livestreams with content that distorts the private lives of many individuals.
From February 15 to now, the Ho Chi Minh City Police has invited Ms. Hang to work 4 times on February 18, March 7, March 9, and March 16, 2022 to warn and deter. At the same time, ask Ms. Hang to stop abusing her freedoms to use social networks to commit acts of infringing upon the legitimate rights and interests of individuals and organizations.

However, Ms. Hang deliberately avoided complying. On the other hand, she continued to gather in large numbers, causing a complicated influence on the security and order situation. She organized many livestreams to attack and insult many individuals and organizations, causing insecurity and violation of the law.
During the investigation and verification process, up to now, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department has determined that Ms. Hang has taken advantage of the right to freedom of speech, freedom of democracy to infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of individuals. This act has enough elements to constitute the crime of “abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State, the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals” according to article 331 of the Penal Code.
With the collected documents and evidence, on March 24, the Ho Chi Minh City Police Department prosecuted the case, prosecuted the accused, searched and detained Ms. Hang for the above crime.
