I want to go home because I have no motivation to work

I am 31 years old, an office worker of a foreign company. The place where I work is nearly 200 km from my hometown.

Being alone and being away from my family makes me tired. My monthly salary is about 18 million VND. In addition, I have more income from stock investment but not much because I just joined. I have been working at my current company for nearly five years, the job is stable but stereotyped and somewhat monotonous and boring. Working in a production company, so everything is going smoothly, I am finding it impossible to develop further.

About love, I broke up with my ex-girlfriend nearly a year after nearly three years of love. We considered getting married at the end of last year, but the relationship didn’t work out. My ex-girlfriend said that our hometown is nearly 200 km apart, I don’t want to get married and go back to my hometown to live, can’t be near her family. This made me sad for a long time then gradually calmed down.

>> Should you quit your job when many people are unemployed?

Regarding family matters, my father died the other year due to a serious illness, and my mother lived alone at home. My brother is seven years older than me, has his own family, lives near his mother’s house. During the day, the mother goes to her brother’s house to take care of the grandchildren, and then comes back at night. I persuaded my mother to move in with my brother, but she refused. Mom said that if I go home later, I’ll just stay with me, I’m more compatible with her. After a few years of working, I accumulated a few hundred million dong, but I used it to treat my father’s illness, buy things and repair the house in the countryside for my mother. Right now, my savings are low.

At this age, the love story is not successful, gradually losing motivation in work, and not saving much money. The important thing is that being away from family makes me tired. From the beginning of the year until now, I have thought about quitting my job to go back to my hometown, intending to save more than 100 million VND by the end of this year and then retire.

If I move back to my hometown, I have to find a job again and start over at companies in the industrial zone. After consulting, I know that the common salary in my hometown cannot be equal to my current salary, I will have to accept a reduction. income half or more. Back home, I also intend to turn to business because the house is in the city center, surrounded by dense residential areas, near schools. BILLION

I’ve never had a business, and I don’t know what I’ll be doing, maybe breakfast and fruit juice. Looking forward to everyone’s advice.
