In the case of Nguyen Phuong Hang, the police invited journalist Han Ni to work

Ms. Nguyen Thi Han Ni (aka journalist Han Ni) said that on March 29, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Security Bureau invited her to work and requested additional documents and evidence related to her having a denunciation against Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang (SN 1971) about the act of “slander”; “humiliating others”; “abusing democratic freedoms to infringe upon the interests of the State, rights and interests of organizations and individuals”.

This development is the process of Ho Chi Minh City Police expanding the investigation of the case about Ms Nguyen Phuong Hang was prosecuted on March 24 for the crime of “abusing democratic freedoms, infringing upon the interests of the State, and the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals” under Article 331 of the Penal Code.

Ms. Han Ni said that she had previously sent a denunciation to the Ministry of Public Security and Ho Chi Minh City Public Security that Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang had slandered, humiliated and insulted her in livestreams. But then, Ms. Han Ni’s application was transferred to the Binh Duong Provincial Police for handling.

Today, the Ho Chi Minh City Public Security Bureau of Investigation invited journalist Han Ni to work, requesting additional evidence surrounding the denunciation of Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang.

The police of Binh Duong province twice invited Ms. Han Ni to work, but for half a year, she has not yet officially replied to her.

According to Ms. Han Ni, after she denounced Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang, in the livestreams, Ms. Hang attacked her even more strongly. In mid-November 2021, Ms. Hang went to Saigon Giai Phong newspaper, calling it “visiting” Ms. Han Ni, dragging crowds and noisy youtubers.

Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang also went on social media, saying that she would “follow and kill”, so Ms. Han Ni continued to file a denunciation with the Ho Chi Minh City Police about Ms. Hang showing signs of “threat to kill”. Han Ni also suggested that the police agency have an emergency protection plan against these threats.

So far, it has been clarified that Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang was prosecuted on March 24 from the application of Ms. Nguyen Thi My Oanh (ie singer Vy Oanh).

In addition, Binh Duong Provincial Police are handling the denunciation of 6 individuals against Ms. Nguyen Phuong Hang. These six individuals include singer Dam Vinh Hung, singer Thuy Tien, former footballer Cong Vinh, journalist Han Ni, journalist Duc Hien and Ms. Dinh Thi Lan.
