On the afternoon of March 29, the HCM City Press Center reported on the accident that caused Mr. Le Hoa Binh, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, to die while on a business trip.
Accordingly, at 7:20 a.m. at km21+700 of the Ho Chi Minh City – Trung Luong Expressway towards Ho Chi Minh City to Trung Luong (in Thanh Duc commune, Ben Luc district, Long An province), the car carried Mr. Le Hoa Binh – Vice President. Standing Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee on the way to work met traffic accidents.
Despite being coordinated by doctors at Long An Provincial General Hospital and Cho Ray Hospital (HCMC), Mr. Le Hoa Binh did not survive.

The People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has directed the relevant agencies of the City to coordinate with the authorities of Long An province to investigate the cause of the accident. The Standing Committee of Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee has also assigned to handle the work that Mr. Le Hoa Binh is directing so that the work will not be interrupted.
Details of Mr. Le Hoa Binh’s funeral will be informed by the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City as soon as possible.
Regarding the accident, the source said, the car carrying Mr. Le Hoa Binh when traveling to the above location, the tire exploded, hit the divider and flipped itself.
