Study in Australia from the perspective of experts, former international students

An Australian education expert and former international student shared his study and career development journey to help young people have a realistic view and plan for the future at a seminar on March 30.

Following the series “Shine With Australia”, the second number of talks will be broadcast at 8 pm on VnExpress and fanpage with the theme “Bright colors for international students in Australia”. Program by VnExpress in collaboration with ISB Institute, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City and the Australian Government Trade and Investment Agency (Austrade).

Guests include: Prof. Dr. Lu Nhat Vinh – Vice Dean of Faculty of Business and Economics, Australian National University; Mr. Le Quang Tue – market analyst, won a PhD scholarship specializing in “Startup, innovation and creativity” at the University of Adelaide and Ms. Duong Pham – TikTok and YouTube content creator, alumni ISB Institute and University of Wollongong. The program was led by Ms. Ngo Thu Huong – Senior Trade Development Manager, Australian Government Trade and Investment Authority (Austrade).

With the participation of government agency representatives, education experts, and former international students, viewers can have an overview of support policies, resources, and experiences in the process of studying abroad in this country. .

The program consists of three main contents. In the first two parts, guests will share about their own path to conquering knowledge and career. Each speaker has their own path, starting from different backgrounds and gradually making positive changes, achieving their own expectations thanks to Australian education.

In it, GS. Dr. Lu Nhat Vinh will tell about the development of a farmer’s son becoming a bright star in the Australian education world. He used to be an English major at Ben Tre High School for the Gifted, co-authored many research articles on trade in services, cooperation, and career development skills in many international journals; The owner of many education awards from the Australian Government, Marketing Academy of Australia and New Zealand, Australian National University.

From next June, he will start his 5-year term as Director of the School of Management, under the Faculty of Business and Economics.

The second speaker – Mr. Le Quang Tue will share about the change in thinking and orientation to find the right goal for himself. Currently, he is involved in teaching the subjects “Startup Thinking and Foundations”, “Innovation and Creativity” at the University of Adelaide Business Institute.

Previously, Tue was a student at Foreign Trade University in Ho Chi Minh City, held the role of student leader of student organizations such as FTUZone & FTUNow, participated in many major marketing and market research competitions such as P&G CEO Academy 2015 or Nielsen Case Competition 2015. After graduating, he worked at large companies in the field of market analysis such as Nielsen, Kantar TNS…

Meanwhile, young speaker Duong Pham will recreate the journey of self-understanding and personal branding. The content creator with Tiktok has 58 million likes and 1.1 million followers. On the YouTube platform, she also has more than 640,000 subscribers.

Duong Pham’s Tiktok channel with the humorous “Mrs. Duong” character has provided a rich and useful content store about life and studying in Australia under the eyes of Vietnamese international students.

From the real stories of former international students who grew up from Australian education, young people can refer to it to find themselves and build their own path.

At the end of the program, the speakers will give orientation for the next stage of career development and advice for international students and young people who want to study in Australia.

“Shine with Australia – Shine with Australia” airs for a fortnight. Each issue will revolve around the content of building a successful study abroad bag for international students, thereby helping you become the most successful version of yourself on the basis of Australian quality education.

“Shine with Australia – Shine with Australia” is a series of seminars to equip international students to become the best version of themselves with Australia’s international quality higher education.
