The price of Honda HR-V 2022 in Indonesia is much cheaper than in Vietnam

Honda HR-V 2022 has just been officially launched in Indonesia with 4 versions including: S, E, SE and Turbo RS with prices ranging from 355.9 – 499.9 million Rupiah (about 566 – 795 million VND).

In which, 3 low versions are equipped with 4-cylinder gasoline engine, 1.5L VTEC naturally aspirated, producing 121 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. The highest version Turbo RS is equipped with a 1.5L Turbo VTEC engine that produces 177 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. All versions are mated to a CVT gearbox.

Honda HR-V 2022 was launched in Indonesia with a stronger, more aggressive appearance than the current model.

It can be seen that, compared to its predecessor, the Honda HR-V 2022 has a completely different design. Overall dimensions length x width x height are 4,450 x 1,780 x 1,600 (mm), wheelbase 2,630 mm. Compared to the size of the old version (length x width x height: 4,334 x 1772 x 1605 (mm) with a wheelbase of 2,610 mm), the 2022 version is significantly more massive.

In terms of design, the Honda HR-V 2022 in Indonesia has a similar appearance to the car launched in Thailand in November last year. The lighting system including headlights, taillights and turn signals is FullLED. Alloy wheels are available in 17-inch or 18-inch sizes.

The premium version HR-V RS is different from the inside out compared to the rest.

The highest version Honda HR-V RS 2022 has different designs such as a sporty chrome grille and rear bumper, integrated with a red logo while the front / rear bumpers and braces around the body are all painted in black. pit. The central air cavity on the front of the car also has red line accents and chrome splints. This version is also painted in Ignite Red with a contrasting black roof.

Inside the cabin, the Honda HR-V 2022 has new black leather seats on 3 versions S, E, and SE. Particularly the RS version has more contrasting red stitching on the seats and steering wheel.

Utility equipment on the car includes: 7-inch TFT multi-info color screen in the dashboard, 8-inch touch screen of the infotainment system, Apple CarPlay / Android Auto support, 4 combined speakers 2 tweeters, panoramic sunroof, push-button start, keyless entry, automatic air conditioning system.

In Vietnam, the current generation Honda HR-V is being import from Thailand and introduced with 2 versions G and L, the selling price is 786 and 866 million dong, respectively.

According to sales data from the Vietnam Association of Automobile Manufacturers (VAMA), in the first 2 months of 2022, the Honda HR-V model sold only 379 units. And the whole year sales of Honda HR-V reached a total of 1,161 units, far behind rivals such as KIA Seltos, Toyota Corolla Cross or Hyundai Kona.

Therefore, Honda HR-V 2022 is expected to be brought back to the country soon to change the situation. Some sources believe that this model may be brought to Vietnam around the third quarter of 2022, but it is likely that there will not be all 4 versions as in the Indonesian market.
