In round 7, a messy situation took place at bend 6, Duc Thanh suddenly rose to the top 5, competing directly for podium. The young racer from Vietnam competes fiercely with the dirty old competitors of Asia. This is also the best achievement that a Vietnamese racer can achieve so far at UB150.

However, the collision in the final round caused Duc Thanh to fall behind, Anh Tuan rose and finished in 8th place. Duc Thanh finished in 10th place. Despite his regrets, he ended the first day in the top. 10 is the great success of the entire Honda Racing Vietnam team.

In the AP250 category, Cao Vietnam also had an inspiring day of competition. “Crazy guy” has a shot that surpasses three opponents at the same time. However, this racer has not yet found the best feeling of competition. After the 2nd round, Cao Vietnam can only compete for the top position in group 2.

Taking advantage of the collision situation in the first group, Cao Vietnam rose to the last lap and finished in 11th place.

Race 2: Vietnamese Cao reached the top 10

On the second day of competition, Duc Thanh and Anh Tuan were no longer as surprised as the first day, in the UB150 category. The opponents on this match day were highly focused and made few mistakes, so there was no collision. The two riders of Honda Racing Vietnam had a low starting position, Anh Tuan finished 14th and Duc Thanh reached 16th place.

At AP250, Cao Vietnam had a better day of competition. In the second round, the “crazy guy” rose to 11th place, fiercely chasing the first group. He chose to play fiercely in straight sections, but cleverly with a wide cornering strategy. This is a factor that helps this racer maximize efficiency, continuously closing the gap with the first group.

By the 5th round, Cao Vietnam rose to 4th place – the best of his career at AP250 and the whole team at ARRC. At this time, he and the other three riders created a fierce rivalry, tit-for-tat. In a brief opening, the “crazy guy” was pushed down to 9th place, at the 6th lap.

Cao Vietnam’s bloodshed was evident in the 7th round, when he regained 5th place. However, two riders competing in the same top team intercepted, causing him to lose his position and finish at the top. 8th place.

Closing the second day of competition, Duc Thanh had 6 points, Anh Tuan had 10 points, respectively ranked 14th and 12th on the UB150 rankings. Cao Vietnam collected the first 15 points, ranked 10th on the rankings at AP250. Through what the three drivers showed at the first stage at ARRC 2022, the whole team had the opportunity to compete with continental rivals.

The second stage of ARRC 2022 is scheduled to take place at Sepang racetrack (Malaysia), from May 27-29.
