U17 Vietnam arrives in Frankfurt, continuing the training journey in Germany

In the first training session at the new club, U17 Vietnam received the guidance of coach Nicolai Adam – Director of International Cooperation and Recruitment of Eintracht Frankfurt. He holds a Pro-Level in UEFA coaching and has extensive experience in developing talent around the world.

Coach Nicolai Adam and head coach Hoang Anh Tuan discussed about Vietnamese talents.

After the warm-up, coach Nicolai Adam let Vietnamese players practice anti-pressing. Tactics are very important in actual competition, he emphasized. After that, the members divided into 2 teams and practiced the exercises that coach Nicolai Adam instructed earlier. The 50-year-old coach is very dedicated in guiding and instructing the Vietnamese players.

At the end of the training session, coach Nicolai Adam and head coach Hoang Anh Tuan gathered the whole team and gave an assessment of the training session. Personal coach Nicolai Adam said that the U17 players grasped the intention very quickly and waited for the performance of Vietnamese talents in the next training sessions.

The Vietnam U17 team practiced anti-pressing on the first day in Frankfurt.

As planned, U17 Vietnam will have a week of training in Frankfurt. On Wednesday (March 30), the whole team will play against U16 Eintracht Frankfurt. This is the second friendly match of U17 Vietnam in Germany. In the previous match, coach Hoang Anh Tuan’s teachers and students worked hard and drew 2-2 with Dortmund U16.

Yesterday, as soon as we arrived at the hotel, the whole team received a warm welcome from the club’s representative. Mr. Moritz, Project Manager of Eintracht Frankfurt said, he watched the match of U17 Vietnam and U16 Dortmund and was very impressed with the level and spirit of coach Hoang Anh Tuan’s students.

He hopes that the entire U17 Vietnam team will have an enjoyable time practicing, competing and experiencing in Frankfurt, one of the oldest football teams in Germany. The players then received welcome gifts from the club.

The U17 team received a warm welcome from the Eintracht Frankfurt club.

“Vietnamese young football talent nursery in Germany” is a project built by Next Media, in collaboration with VFF and Bundesliga. With this project, young Vietnamese players will have the opportunity to access European-class training and training models, helping to develop comprehensively in both skills and thinking in playing football.

The four clubs that will directly coach Vietnam U17 are Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, FC Koln and Borussia Mönchengladbach, respectively. Along with that will be great experiences about football life in the Bundesliga, the perfect place to nurture the passion of young Vietnamese talents to become professional players.
