Vivo’s first folding screen smartphone
vivo recently confirmed that it will soon launch its first folding screen smartphone on April 11. Today, the official render images have shown the design details of this smartphone. Accordingly, vivo will also use the same inward folding screen design as most folding screen smartphones on the current market.
Seen from the image, the most prominent element of vivo X Fold comes from the main camera cluster with a circular design, attached with the “Zeiss” logo, showing that this device is a cooperation product between vivo and the Carl Zeiss brand to improve image quality. The main camera cluster will include 4 lenses: 50MP wide angle, 48MP super wide angle, 12MP 2X telephoto and 8MP “potential” telephoto. This camera specification is only tentative.

Inside, vivo X Fold has a main screen using AMOLED E5 panel with QHD + resolution, 120Hz refresh rate. According to vivo, both of these screens are equipped with an internal fingerprint sensor, not a side sensor.
In terms of performance, vivo X Fold is equipped with a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, 12GB of RAM and 256GB or 512GB of internal memory. The battery has a capacity of 4600mAh, supports 120W or 80W fast charging, with 50W wireless charging.
